Enagala Venkatram Reddy Takes Charge As Hanamkonda DCC President

WARANGAL: Senior Congress leader and Kakatiya Urban Development Authority chairman Enagala Venkatram Reddy formally assumed charge as president of the Hanamkonda District Congress Committee (DCC) on Wednesday.
The programme was held at the party office in the presence of In-charge minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, panchayat raj minister Seethakka, and Chief Minister’s Adviser Vem Narendar Reddy.
The event witnessed a massive turnout of thousands of party workers and supporters from the erstwhile Warangal district. Addressing the gathering, Srinivas Reddy praised Venkatram Reddy’s long-standing commitment to the Congress, stating that his experience would play a key role in strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
The minister also lauded Hanamkonda MLA Naini Rajendar Reddy, who was felicitated on the occasion for his decisive victory in the recent Assembly elections. He recalled that Rajendar Reddy had defeated four-time BRS MLA and former Government Whip Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar in Hanamkonda, which he described as the political heart of the Warangal region. He appreciated the MLA’s continuous efforts in addressing public issues and said the party always recognises committed workers.
In his maiden address as DCC president, Enagala Venkatram Reddy thanked Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and the party leadership for reposing confidence in him. He said party workers were the real strength of the Congress and assured that he would lead the district unit with unity and coordination. He said his priority would be to take government welfare schemes to the people and fight for public causes.
The ceremony was attended by MP Kadiyam Kavya, MLC Baswaraju Saraiah, MLAs Kadiyam Srihari, Revuri Prakash Reddy, Donthi Madhava Reddy and K.R. Nagaraju, along with Warangal Mayor Gundu Sudharani and other senior leaders.
