Electric RTC Bus Catches Fire Near Karimnagar, 40 Passengers Safe

Flames Erupt from Electric RTC Bus
An electric RTC bus caught fire near Alugunuru while travelling from Karimnagar to Secunderabad, triggering panic among passengers. The incident occurred about 15 minutes after the bus left the depot, when flames suddenly broke out, reportedly due to a technical fault.
There were around 40 passengers on board at the time. The driver promptly alerted them, and along with the conductor, ensured that all passengers safely disembarked from the vehicle. No injuries or casualties were reported.
The bus, belonging to the Karimnagar-2 depot, was completely gutted in the fire. Officials said the incident took place near LMD in Thimmapur mandal.
Authorities have launched an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the fire.
