Early Bird Property Tax Scheme in CURE Area
The scheme is applicable across Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC), but not on arrears.

Hyderabad:The Early Bird scheme for 2026‑27 has commenced in the Core Urban Region Economy (CURE) area, offering a five per cent discount on property tax if dues for the current financial year are paid in full by April 30.
The scheme is applicable across Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC), but not on arrears.
In 2025‑26, the three corporations together collected ₹2,558.80 crore in property tax, with CMC generating the highest revenue at ₹1,000.36 crore, followed by GHMC (₹995.82 crore) and MMC (₹562 crore). On March 31 alone, ₹162.94 crore was collected, while the month’s total stood at ₹453.98 crore. Additionally, under the one-time settlement scheme, ₹548 crore was collected that day, including ₹233 crore from GHMC, ₹189 crore from CMC and ₹126 crore from MMC.
