EAGLE Force Seizes 166 Kg Ganja From Odisha Man
Police formed a special team to trace and arrest the two remaining suspects

Nalgonda: The EAGLE Force and Sathupalli police on Saturday arrested an alleged ganja peddler on the outskirts of Sathupalli in Khammam district while he was allegedly transporting 166.3 kg of ganja from Odisha to Hyderabad, police said.
The accused was identified as Prabith Bhathra, 31, a native of Gunthawada village in Malkangiri district of Odisha. Police registered a case against him under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Acting on credible information, the EAGLE Force and Sathupalli police intercepted a car on the outskirts of Sathupalli and seized 166.3 kg of ganja worth about ₹83.13 lakh from the vehicle. Prabith Bhathra, who was driving the car, was arrested.
Sathupalli inspector Thummalapalli Srihari said the accused confessed during questioning that the contraband was being transported from Odisha to Hyderabad. He also disclosed the alleged involvement of two others Bikari, a native of Bikari in Odisha, and Chukka Nageshwara Rao of Bethamcherla in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool district.
