Hyderabad: The Core Urban Region will soon upgrade its driving test tracks with AI‑based video analytics. Officials inspected the tracks on Tuesday as part of ongoing works. The initiative aims to ensure strict and transparent driving tests, reduce human intervention, and promote road safety.
A field survey was conducted along with HMDA officials at Kondapur and Nagole. The Transport Department said members of the committee on Automated Driving Test Tracks had visited Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha, studied practices there, and submitted a report.
