HYDERABAD: Dr D. Nageshwar Reddy, chairman and chief of gastroenterology at AIG Hospitals, Hyderabad, was conferred with an honorary fellowship by ICFAI University, Sikkim, in recognition of his contributions to medicine, gastroenterology and medical education, as well as his commitment to patient care and human values. The fellowship was presented to Dr Reddy by Sikkim Governor Om Prakash Mathur, Visitor of ICFAI University, Sikkim.
The recognition acknowledges Dr Reddy’s contributions to gastroenterology and his efforts to advance medical science, strengthen medical education and improve patient care. Through his clinical expertise, academic leadership and focus on innovation, he has contributed to the development of gastroenterology and endoscopy in India and internationally.
As chairman and chief of gastroenterology at AIG Hospitals, Dr Reddy has played a role in advancing specialised gastrointestinal care, promoting clinical research and supporting academic excellence. The fellowship also recognises his commitment to compassion, education, service and human well-being.
