Hyderabad: District electoral officer R.V. Karnan on Thursday instructed officials not to digitise any enumeration form unless it bears the signature of the elector.
During a review meeting with all 15 electoral registration officers (EROs) of Hyderabad district to assess the progress of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), Karnan directed the EROs to ensure that no eligible voter is left out during the revision process.
Officials were also instructed to identify polling stations with more than 1,100 electors for rationalisation and to verify that every polling station is equipped with all required basic amenities for voters.
