Divi's, Aurobindo Fund Hare Krishna Kitchens

The project will support breakfast for about 85,000 children in Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Narayanpet and Mahabubnagar districts.

Hyderabad:The Hare Krishna Movement Charitable Foundation received major Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) grants from Divi’s Laboratories and Aurobindo Pharma for expanding school breakfast kitchens in Telangana. The grants were presented in the presence of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

Divi’s Laboratories has committed Rs. 12.18 crores to set up a new greenfield centralised kitchen at Choutuppal. The facility will prepare breakfast for around 60,000 schoolchildren across Yadadri‑Bhuvanagiri and Nalgonda districts.

Aurobindo Pharma has sanctioned Rs. 10 crores to establish a new kitchen in Sangareddy, and modernise the foundation’s existing facility at Kodangal. The project will support breakfast for about 85,000 children in Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Narayanpet and Mahabubnagar districts.

The Foundation said the new infrastructure will strengthen its school breakfast programme, improve meal delivery capacity and help provide nutritious morning meals to more government school students across Telangana.
