DC Impact: GHMC Clears Tilaknagar Trash Following Photo Report

Hyderabad: Acting on a photograph published in these column regarding garbage lying unattended, GHMC cleared the trash and cleaned the area on Tuesday. On Tuesday, Deccan Chronicle published a photograph “GHMC Mess at Tilaknagar”. GHMC’s sanitation supervisor and sanitary field assistant inspected the location and cleared the garbage and waste. Staff also cleaned and disinfected the area. Authorities instructed the staff to regularly monitor and attend to the location to prevent garbage dumping from happening, and also spread awareness to nearby residents, shopkeepers and vendors to avoid dumping waste at the site.
