Daily Express Train To Jodhpur Starts Today
The express train addresses a long-standing demand from the sizeable Rajasthani community in Telangana, particularly Hyderabad: South Central Railway
HYDERABAD: Union ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw and Kishan Reddy will flag off a daily express train linking Kacheguda in Hyderabad to Bhagat Ki Kothi, Jodhpur, at 5.30 pm on Saturday, fulfilling a long-expressed demand for the service. The train, unlike others, will pass through Nizamabad.
Train 17065 will leave Kacheguda at 11.50 pm and will pass through Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Akola, Itarsi, Ujjaini, Ajmer and reach Bhagat ki Kothi in Jodhpur as well as
Washim, Ratlam, Neemuch, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara and Pali Marwar.
According to South Central Railway, the express train addresses a long-standing demand from the sizeable Rajasthani community in Telangana, particularly Hyderabad. Members of various associations of Rajasthani community met minister Vaishnaw and requested him to introduce a daily direct train from Hyderabad.
The minister had received representations from the Hyderabad Kirana Merchant’s Association, Maheshwari Samaj Hyderabad and Secunderabad, Kumavath Samaj Telangana, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Maheshwari Sabha, Akhil Bharatvarshiya Maheshwari Mahasabha and Hyderabad and Secunderabad (Zilla) Maheshwari Sabha.
Despite the Kacheguda-Ramagundam-Mancherial route, SCR officials will run the Kacheguda-Jodhpur train via Nizamabad and Nanded. The 22-bogie train includes sleeper, 3AC, 2 AC, general, luggage and coaches for differently abled people.
