Cyberabad Police Launch Newly Designed Website for Citizen-Centric Service Delivery

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police have launched its newly designed official website to enhance transparency and strengthen citizen-centric service delivery. The website is designed to be accessible and easy to navigate for citizens of all age groups and important alerts and information are updated promptly to ensure the public is always informed.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty said the website serves as a critical information portal designed to provide essential services and updates to the citizens of Cyberabad. The website will enhance user experience through real-time content updates, modern UI/UX, and mobile-friendly design. It is a user-friendly interface optimized for access on desktops and tablets devices.

It facilitates dissemination of important information such as announcements, alerts, safety guidelines. The key features which stand out are - new citizen feedback QR scanner launched by Telangana police, enabling citizens to give feedback on the working efficiency of the police officials.

The website has jurisdiction finder connected to google maps which helps the citizen to find out which police station he should approach as well as get direction to that police station apart from CPPMS services enabling a citizen to apply online for certain permissions, NOCs and licenses such as events like marathons, music Shows, film shootings etc; NOCs for controlled blasting, establishment license and license to use and supply loudspeakers.

This will reduce the hassle of contacting various police offices. A defreeze link to enable the victims of cybercrime to request for the defreeze of their accounts online is also available. This is particularly helpful for victims who stay in other cities of India apart from a dedicated link in citizen services which takes a victim to a national external portal securely to help report a cybercrime.

Contact details of key officials, their roles, details, as well as police station information sector wise etc were also available on the website along with citizen can access traffic related services also like e-Challan, Cyberabad traffic pulse - a program setup to help citizens travelling within the Cyberabad region with real-time alerts on traffic conditions, being a responsible citizen by reporting a traffic violation etc.

The website will help a citizen to know the status of their passport application, police verification certificate etc in addition to latest tender details, which gives an opportunity for a vendor to participate, as well as ensures a transparent administration.

Awareness programs related to public safety, cybercrime prevention and community engagement initiatives and latest press notes and meets are also available. The Cyberabad police are also planning to have gun license related login for license holders soon.

The Cyberabad police explored more possibilities in upgrading the website to include more dynamic features and integrate with other e-Governance systems like Mee Seva, to enhance citizen engagement and service delivery.
