Cyberabad Police Advise Early Logout Amid Heavy Rain Forecast

The advisory, issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic-1), highlighted concerns over public safety, possible severe traffic congestion, and the need to ensure uninterrupted emergency services during adverse weather conditions.

Cyberabad Traffic Police on Wednesday issued an advisory to companies and organisations in the IT corridor, urging them to implement staggered early logout timings in view of the forecast of moderate to heavy rainfall.

The advisory, issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic-1), highlighted concerns over public safety, possible severe traffic congestion, and the need to ensure uninterrupted emergency services during adverse weather conditions.

Companies have been requested to allow employees to log out early in a staggered manner starting from 3:30 PM to minimise travel risks and reduce pressure on road infrastructure.

Organisations have also been asked to share their office locations and proposed logout timings with the traffic police via email to facilitate better traffic management arrangements.

The police sought cooperation from all stakeholders to ensure smooth movement of traffic and public safety during the expected rainfall.
