Cyberabad Cops Give Lift to Traffic-Hit Doctor, Ensure On-Time Arrival for NEET-PG
Following instructions from Cyberabad police commissioner Dr M. Ramesh, Raidurgam police stepped in to assist the candidate
Hyderabad: Raidurgam police helped a 24-year-old doctor reach his NEET-PG entrance centre after he was caught in heavy traffic at Gachibowli while the Hyderabad Marathon was underway on Sunday.
Dr Burma Vikas, a resident of Kompally, was travelling to Narayanamma Engineering College in Shaikpet to appear for the examination when he got stuck in the traffic congestion. Following instructions from Cyberabad police commissioner Dr M. Ramesh, Raidurgam police stepped in to assist the candidate. Raidurgam inspector Bhoopathi and traffic police reserve inspector Hanmireddy arranged a patrol car to take Dr Vikas to the centre.
Police said the candidate reached the centre within 15 minutes, well before the examination commenced. The timely intervention ensured Dr Vikas attend the NEET-PG without difficulty. Police said the assistance was part of the traffic management and public facilitation measures taken during the marathon.
