Credai Hyderabad Property Show Draws Strong Response

Over 60 developers and more than 300 RERA‑approved projects are being showcased at the three‑day Credai Hyderabad Property Show that began here on Friday. The exhibition will continue till August 30, offering homebuyers a wide range of options across segments and price points.

Addressing the gathering, chief secretary Sanjay Jaju said Hyderabad had emerged as one of the most preferred destinations globally, driven by a strong business ecosystem and rapid infrastructure growth. “Projects such as Metro Phase‑II expansion and the Musi Riverfront Development are further strengthening the city’s appeal,” he noted. He also stated that real estate remains a key driver of economic growth and assured continued government support for transparent and efficient sectoral development.

N. Jaideep Reddy, president of the Hyderabad chapter of Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (Credai), said the sector continues to grow steadily, though issues such as building permit mortgage norms and NALA processes require further policy clarity. He expressed confidence in the government‑industry partnership to resolve these challenges.

Credai‑Hyderabad president‑elect B. Jagannath Rao said Hyderabad’s real estate market remains resilient, with over 26,100 homes sold in H1 2026 and 60 million sq. ft. absorbed, driven by demand for larger homes. General secretary K. Kranti Kiran Reddy said the sector was gaining momentum due to infrastructure growth and a strong business environment and stressed the need for better government‑industry coordination and transparency.

The exhibition saw a good response from homebuyers and visitors on the first day. Many people visited with their families and interacted with representatives to know about properties, prices and locations across the city. A visitor said, “It is useful to have different housing options at one place. We can compare the prices, locations and facilities before making a decision.”

One of the developers said, “We are seeing good interest from visitors, especially families. The weekend is expected to bring more prospective buyers to the exhibition.” With the weekend ahead, organisers and developers expect more visitors over the next two days. The property show will also host panel discussions and cultural programmes celebrating Hyderabad’s urban evolution.
