Couple Killed, Children Injured in Road Mishap at Lingala Ghanapuram
Family’s journey turns tragic as Bolero rams culvert; parents dead, children safe with minor injuries
Lingala Ghanapuram: A tragic road accident claimed the lives of a couple and left their two children injured on Wednesday at Vaddicharla on Jangaon–Suryapet highway.
According to Sub-Inspector Shravan Kumar and local villagers, the victims were identified as Daddoju Suresh and his wife Divya, residents of Vadlapudi in Manubolu mandal, Nellore district. The couple, along with their children Lokshan and Mokshagna, were travelling to Karimnagar in a Bolero vehicle after attending a wedding in their hometown.
Suresh, who worked in a granite company in Karimnagar, reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which then rammed into a culvert near Nakshatra Garden at Vaddicharla. Suresh died on the spot, while Divya succumbed to injuries while being shifted to the hospital in a 108 ambulance.
Their children sustained minor injuries and are currently undergoing treatment at Jangaon District Hospital. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
