Corporation cautions owners against false claims and unofficial collections

The TGSRTC management on Friday warned hired bus owners against “false propaganda” allegedly being spread to mislead them and collect money in the name of influencing officials.

In a statement, the management said certain people were approaching owners claiming funds were required to “manage” government and RTC officials, and cautioned that such actions could harm the owners’ own interests.

The corporation clarified that hired bus owners providing services need not be concerned, stating that decisions on continuation and operation of hired buses are taken transparently and in line with government directives and organisational regulations.

The management urged owners to remain vigilant and not be misled by unofficial claims or campaigns.
