HYDERABAD: The Commissioner’s Task Force, South East Zone, along with Rein Bazaar police arrested a habitual offender and recovered `5.97 lakh stolen cash from his possession on July 11. Shaik Hafeezuddin, 22, a painter from Dabeerpura, stole the money from a scooter parked near Waheedunnisa Begum masjid by opening the dickey with a duplicate key. A case was registered at the Rein Bazaar police station after a complaint was filed by the scooter’s owner, whose name has been withheld by the police. Earlier, the accused was sent to jail in similar cases. Probe into the incident is underway.
