Cop Helps Out Kin Of Road Accident Survivor
The victim, Dharamsoth Naveen of Botya Thanda in Maripeda mandal, suffered a severe head injury in the road accident while returning from work.
WARANGAL: Sub inspector Bolagani Sathish Kumar donated ₹5,000 from his personal savings to assist a road accident victim and his dependents in Maripeda mandal on Wednesday.
The victim, Dharamsoth Naveen of Botya Thanda in Maripeda mandal, suffered a severe head injury in the road accident while returning from work. Though he survived, the injuries rendered him mentally unstable and unable to continue working.
Naveen, who had been working as a cook, was the sole breadwinner for his wife and two young children. With him now bedridden, the family has been left without a source of income, relying entirely on his wife for care and support. While investigating a routine case, SI Sathish Kumar visited Naveen’s home and was deeply moved by their condition.
Residents of Botya Thanda praised the officer’s gesture and appealed to philanthropists and social organisations to extend further support to the family until Naveen recovers.
