Congress to Restart Ministers Face-to-face Program from June 17

The programme ran for several months and was suspended citing busy schedules of the ministers and after the ruling party became preoccupied with polls at different levels.

Hyderabad: The weekly mukha-mukhi (face-to-face) programme at the Congress headquarters, a grievance redressal event overseen by at least one minister, will resume on June 17, with the first meeting featuring public enterprises and minorities welfare minister Mohammed Azharuddin at Gandhi Bhavan. He will interact with visitors and receive representations from the people.

The government had launched the programme provide a forum for people to air their grievances and secure resolution. The programme ran for several months and was suspended citing busy schedules of the ministers and after the ruling party became preoccupied with polls at different levels.
