Congress Sweeps All Municipalities in Nalgonda District

The Congress party has achieved a clean sweep in Nalgonda district, winning control of all municipalities in the recently held municipal elections.

The party secured a clear majority in every civic body across the district, underlining its stronghold in the region.

Municipality-wise results are as follows:

• Chanduru: Congress 6, BRS 3, Others 1

• Chityala: Congress 9, BRS 2, Others 1

• Devarakonda: Congress 10, BRS 7, BJP 1, Others 2

• Haliya: Congress 11, BRS 1

• Miryalaguda: Congress 31, BRS 14, BJP 1, Others 2

• Nandikonda: Congress 11, BRS 1

With victories in all six municipalities, Congress has consolidated its position in Nalgonda district, leaving the opposition parties trailing in the civic polls.
