Congress Spreading False Propaganda on Kaleshwaram To Target KCR, Alleges BRS
He further alleged that the commission’s report had been prepared in line with a script provided by the Congress.

Nalgonda: Former MLA and BRS Nalgonda district president Ramavath Ravindra Kumar Naik on Thursday alleged that the Congress government had launched false propaganda claiming that the Kaleshwaram project had collapsed in a bid to defame former Chief Minister and BRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
Addressing a media conference at the party district office in Nalgonda, he claimed that Congress leaders had visited the Medigadda barrage before the Assembly elections with political motives and used the issue for electoral gain.
He alleged that after coming to power in Telangana, the Congress government set up the P.C. Ghosh Commission on the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme to target K. Chandrasekhar Rao and former minister T. Harish Rao.
Ravindra Kumar Naik said the High Court had observed that the inquiry conducted by the P.C. Ghosh Commission was contrary to the principles of natural justice. He further alleged that the commission’s report had been prepared in line with a script provided by the Congress.
He said there was no truth in claims that the Rs 1 lakh crore invested in the Kaleshwaram project had gone to waste. He also alleged that the Chief Minister and the State Cabinet were working in the interests of Andhra Pradesh.
He further claimed that when cracks appeared in two pillars at Medigadda, the construction firm Larsen & Toubro had offered to carry out repairs, but the Congress government did not permit it.
He alleged that the Congress government was using the Kaleshwaram issue to divert public attention from its failure to implement pre-poll promises.
MLC C. Koti Reddy and BRS leaders Banda Narender Reddy, Kancherla Bhupal Reddy and N. Bhasker Rao were present at the media conference.
