Congress Leader, Mom Found Dead In Jangaon
A mother and her son were found dead under suspicious circumstances on Thursday in Girnigadda Colony, Jangaon town.
WARANGAL: A mother and her son were found dead under suspicious circumstances on Thursday in Girnigadda Colony, Jangaon town. Police identified the deceased as Chorabuddi Dayakar Reddy (56), a senior Congress leader in Jangaon, and his mother, Ahalya Devi (80). The two had lived together and had both been ill for some time.
Early on Thursday morning, neighbours found Dayakar Reddy slumped in his chair, while his mother lay dead beside her bed. They immediately alerted the police.
A CLUES team from the Warangal Police Commissionerate responded, collected evidence, and initiated an investigation. Authorities believe the duo may have committed suicide due to their prolonged illnesses. The case has been registered, and the bodies were taken to the government hospital for post-mortem examination.
