Congress Govt. took historic decisions in last one year: Ponnam
Hyderabad: BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said on Saturday that the Congress government took historic decisions during the last one year after coming to power in the State.
In the last one year after assuming charge on December 7, 2023, the State government waived off Rs.2 lakh loan of farmers, providing free supply of electricity up to 200 units, free travel facility to women in TGRTC buses and a LPG cylinder at a subsidized rate of Rs.500 apart from filling up of 55,000 government job vacancies.
The government has also increased cosmetic charges up to 40 per cent in Gurukul educational institutions along with diet charges. In a short video message released today, the Minister assured that the State government would implement all the promises made to the people in the next four years.
