Congress Holds Confidential Meetings on Municipal Elections

On this occasion, detailed discussions were conducted on the strategies to be adopted with the objective of ensuring the Congress party’s victory in the municipal elections, the ground-level situation, and the action plan required to strengthen the party.

Nizamabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) decided to win majority of seats in the ensuing municipal elections under Nizamabad Parliament constituency limits. It is also decided to defeat opposition parties in the municipal elections. For the purpose, Congress will conduct confidential meetings too on municipal elections.

A review meeting on preparations for the municipal elections was conducted with key leaders of the Nizamabad Parliamentary constituency on Thursday. AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, TPCC president and MLC B.Mahesh Kumar Goud, and Irrigation minister and Nizamabad Parliament constituency in-charge N.Uttam Kumar Reddy were present.

On this occasion, detailed discussions were conducted on the strategies to be adopted with the objective of ensuring the Congress party’s victory in the municipal elections, the ground-level situation, and the action plan required to strengthen the party. The leaders called upon party cadres to work collectively to win the trust of the people in the municipal elections.

The meeting was also attended by Government advisors Mohammad Ali Shabbir and P.Sudarshan Reddy, MLA R.Bhupathi Reddy, MLC Balmur Venkat, Nizamabad district Congress committee presidents K.Nagesh Reddy and Nizamabad city Congress committee president B.Ramakrishna, Anil Kumar, Kesha Venu, and several other senior leaders were present.
