Congress, BRS Clash over Protocol in Adilabad

Adilabad: Two groups belonging to the BRS and Congress clashed over a protocol issue during an official meeting at Boath mandal headquarters on Wednesday, where Shaadi Mubarak and Kalyana Lakshmi cheques were being distributed to beneficiaries.

The trouble began when Congress leaders objected to former MPP Tula Srinivas of BRS sitting on the dais alongside local MLA Anil Jadhav. The verbal argument quickly escalated into a physical clash, with members of both groups exchanging blows and hurling chairs at each other. Police intervened promptly and brought the situation under control.
