BC intellectuals, social‑organisation representatives, and caste‑association leaders are also expected.

Rahul Gandhi will outline the need for a strong, united OBC movement to advance the social, educational, and economic interests of marginalised communities. He is expected to guide BC leaders on fostering awareness and unity nationwide. AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge will speak on the broader path forward for BC empowerment.

The agenda includes Telangana’s pending Bills to raise BC reservations in politics, education, and employment to 42 per cent, legislation now awaiting presidential assent after clearing the Assembly. Delegates will also discuss a state ordinance, approved by the Cabinet and pending the Governor’s signature, to increase BC quotas in local‑body elections.

The meeting aims to produce an action plan to secure greater representation and rights for BC communities in every sphere of public life.
