Kharge clears candidates for two key Graduates’ Constituencies
Hyderabad: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Tuesday announced its candidates for the upcoming biennial elections to the Telangana Legislative Council from two key Graduates’ Constituencies.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge approved the candidatures of Sama Rammohan Reddy and Ramreddy Sarvotham Reddy to contest the polls on behalf of the party.
According to an official communique issued by AICC General Secretary (Organisation) K.C. Venugopal on September 29, 2026, Sama Rammohan Reddy has been fielded from the Mahabubnagar–Ranga Reddy–Hyderabad Graduates' Constituency.
Ramreddy Sarvotham Reddy has been nominated to contest from the Nalgonda–Khammam–Warangal Graduates' Constituency.
With the party high command formalising both tickets, the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) leadership is set to launch full-scale ground mobilization and voter enrollment outreach across the nine erstwhile composite districts covered by the two high-profile legislative council segments.
