Cong Will Be Drubbed in the Ensuing Local Body Polls

Hyderabad: BJP vice-president D.K. Aruna, the party’s Mahbubnagar MP, alleged that the Congress government had failed across all fronts in Telangana. She said that the Congress has been relegated in Delhi politics and the voters of Delhi are not ready to trust the false claims and promises of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
Speaking to newspersons here on Friday, Aruna said that the people’s anger over BRS, its leader K. Chandrashekar Rao and his family had helped Congress come to power. It grabbed power by its repeated rhetoric about an alliance between BJP and BRS, she said.
If the Congress leaders orchestrate the same tune, the voters would give a befitting reply in the ensuing local body elections, she said.
On BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao’s comment that the Enforcement Directorate had grilled him with the same set of questions, Aruna said that no one knew what the agency had asked him. The facts would come out once the agency is through with its probe.
Aruna said that the AAP government, facing serious corruption charges, had failed to live up to the expectations of the people.
AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal was jailed for his alleged involvement in the liquor scam and the Delhi people are not ready to trust such leaders, she said.
