Congress Party Unit Revamp on May 30
The meeting is aimed at discussing TPCC revamp, cabinet expansion

Hyderabad: The Congress high command has invited Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and senior party leaders to return to Delhi on May 30 for crucial discussions, reportedly aimed at finalising the long-anticipated revamp of the state party unit.
Revanth Reddy held deliberations with AICC general secretary (organisation) K.C. Venugopal on Monday. AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge was not in Delhi to participate in the discussions.
Following the party leadership's instructions, Revanth Reddy wrapped up his three-day Delhi visit and returned to Hyderabad on Monday night. He had left for Delhi on Friday to attend the Niti Aayog governing council meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Separately, Congress general secretary Venugopal and TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud met senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Speaking to reporters later, Goud expressed optimism. “We have urged the high command to expedite decisions on the TPCC revamp and Cabinet expansion. Rahul Gandhi responded positively to our requests. The new TPCC composition is almost finalised and an official announcement is expected very soon,” Goud stated.
