Collector Sanctions Livelihood Assistance For Differently Abled Youth
Officials said the initiative would provide the family with a sustainable source of livelihood and improve its economic stability

JANGAON: Jangaon district collector Sandeep Kumar Jha on Tuesday sanctioned livelihood assistance to a differently abled youth from Jangaon town by providing financial support for the purchase of a Tata Ace vehicle.
The collector handed over a cheque for `4 lakh to the parents of Parsha Sai at the collectorate to enable the family to take up self-employment.
According to officials, the family had submitted a representation to the collector seeking assistance for a permanent source of livelihood in view of their financial difficulties.
After reviewing their request, the collector coordinated with the concerned departments to facilitate the sanction of the assistance.
Speaking on the occasion, Sandeep Kumar Jha said government welfare programmes were intended to support economically weaker families and improve their quality of life.
He advised the family to utilise four-wheeler vehicle to generate a steady income and strengthen their financial security through self-employment.
