Collector Inspects Tribal Welfare Residential School

Adilabad:Adilabad district collector Rajarshi Shah on Tuesday visited government schools and colleges as part of a week-long ‘Praja Palana Pragati Pranalika’ and initiated the sanitation works on Tuesday.

The Adilabad collector visited the tribal welfare residential school for girls in Ichoda and gave away awards to winners in the elocution, quiz and painting competitions. He praised the teaching staff for achieving 91 per cent pass percentage in last year's exams and appealed to the students to avail the STAR 50 coaching being given to the students preparing for EAMCET and JEE.
The collector said the state government has sanctioned `2 crore for development of the college and construction of a compound wall, which had collapsed during the floods last year and for repairs to the classrooms, creating toilets, and providing drinking water facilities..
