Nizamabad: District collector Ila Tripathi on Friday urged girl students to make effective use of a study tour organised to enable their participation in the Udyan Utsav programme being conducted by the horticulture department.
To facilitate visits to the exhibition being held at Rashtrapati Nilayam, the district administration selected 52 girl students from the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya at Mopal mandal headquarters. The students were sent to Rashtrapati Nilayam in a special bus on Friday. The collector flagged off the bus at the Telangana Thalli statue on the premises of the Integrated District Offices Complex. Addressing the students, she said a wide variety of flowers and plants were on display at the Udyan Utsav and advised them to gain knowledge from the exhibition.
