Cockroach Infestation, Expired Paneer Found at Wow Momo in Cyberabad

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) food safety officials conducted an inspection at Wow Momo Foods Private Limited at GSM mall in Madinaguda to assess compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
The officials observed major observations including cockroach infestation, water testing, food testing, packaging testing and medical fitness records were not available and no hot water provision in the dishwashing area.
Expired sauces and paneer were identified and discarded during the inspection and spoiled vegetables and leafy vegetables were discarded. Onion storage crates required proper cleaning and deep cleaning of the flooring was found to be inadequate.
An improvement notice is being issued, directing the Food Business Operator to rectify deficiencies and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
However, officials also found good practices including food handlers maintaining personal hygiene and FSSAI licence displayed prominently at the premises.
