CMC Clears 345 Encroachments Across 12.45 km in Three Zones
In Serilingampally zone, Serilingampally recorded 80 removals, followed by Miyapur (28) and Ameenpur (8).
Hyderabad:The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Friday said it had removed 345 encroachments on 12.45 km of roads across three zones. The Quthbullapur zone recorded the highest number of removals, with 161 encroachments cleared across 4.6 km, followed by Serilingampally (116) and Kukatpally, which recorded 68 removals across 3.35 km.
In Quthbullapur zone, Jeedimetla accounted for the highest number of removals at 38, followed by Kompally (32), Gajularamaram (21), Dundigal (22), Medchal (18), Nizampet (17) and Chintal (13).
In Serilingampally zone, Serilingampally recorded 80 removals, followed by Miyapur (28) and Ameenpur (8).
In Kukatpally zone, Madhapur recorded 23 removals, followed by Kukatpally (20), Moosapet (15) and Allwyn Colony (10).
CMC Commissioner G. Srijana said the cleared stretches would continue to be monitored to prevent re-encroachment and ensure that reclaimed roads, footpaths and public spaces remain accessible to citizens.
