CMC Clears 30 Km of Footpaths, Removes 506 Encroachments
In Kukatpally Zone, 105 encroachments were removed on three stretches covering 3.16 km — HUDA Techno Enclave Road in Madhapur Circle, Mithra Hills Road in Allwyn Colony Circle and KPHB Road No. 1 in Kukatpally Circle.
Hyderabad:The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Saturday cleared 30.29 km of footpaths and removed 506 encroachments as part of its drive across 15 road stretches.
The operation targeted unauthorised food stalls, street vendors, temporary structures and other obstructions occupying pedestrian space. The corporation is divided into three zones — Serilingampally, Kukatpally and Quthbullapur.
In Serilingampally Zone, encroachments were removed on Gandipet X Road to Sai Baba Temple in Narsingi Circle, Patancheru Main Road in Patancheru Circle, and BHEL Circle to RC Puram Nagulamma Temple in Ameenpur Circle. Manjeera Pipeline Road in Miyapur Circle and Telecom Nagar Road in Serilingampally Circle were also cleared. In all, five stretches covering 10.8 km were freed of 197 encroachments.
In Kukatpally Zone, 105 encroachments were removed on three stretches covering 3.16 km — HUDA Techno Enclave Road in Madhapur Circle, Mithra Hills Road in Allwyn Colony Circle and KPHB Road No. 1 in Kukatpally Circle.
In Quthbullapur Zone, 204 encroachments were removed on seven stretches covering 15.53 km. These included Narsapur Road in Chintal Circle, Suchitra Road in Jeedimetla Circle, Om Janda Circle to Rajiv Gruha Kalpa in Kompally Circle, Devender Nagar Road in Gajularamaram Circle, Nizampet Road in Nizampet Circle, Mallampet Road in Dundigal Circle and Medchal Railway Station Road in Medchal Circle.
