CM To Open Karimnagar Collectorate This Month
The Chief Minister will also inaugurate development works in the Karimnagar Municipal Corporation and at Satavahana University, the minister said.

ADILABAD: Transport and BC welfare minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Thursday said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will inaugurate the newly constructed Karimnagar Integrated Collectorate building and unveil the Telangana Thalli statue on its premises in the last week of this month.
The Chief Minister will also inaugurate development works in the Karimnagar Municipal Corporation and at Satavahana University, the minister said.
After inspecting the completed collectorate building, Ponnam Prabhakar said the structure symbolised the development of Karimnagar. He said the construction had been stalled earlier and was later completed with the initiative of district collector Chitra Mishra. Greenery and landscaping were developed in the premises under the supervision of Suda, he added.
The minister said the state government was prioritising the development of Satavahana University and that opportunities for higher education had increased with the establishment of law and pharmacy colleges in Karimnagar.
He said efforts were being made to develop Karimnagar as a health hub and that the medical college had been upgraded as a teaching institution. He added that steps were being taken for the integrated development of the district with support from Cabinet colleagues D. Sridhar Babu and Adluri Laxman Kumar, along with local MLAs.
Munnuru Kapu Corporation chairman Bomma Sriram, Suda chairman Komati Reddy Narander Reddy, additional collector D. Srinivas Reddy, former MLA Arepalli Mohan and others were present.
