CM to Meet Minority Rank Holders After June 2: Shabbir Ali
Shabbir said Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy had asked officials to organise a meeting with minority toppers after June 2, where the students are expected to be felicitated and provided laptops and study materials on behalf of the state government.

Hyderabad: The state government is planning to felicitate minority students who secured state-level ranks in TGEapcet and intermediate examinations, government adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir informed on Thursday.
He said Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy had asked officials to organise a meeting with minority toppers after June 2, where the students are expected to be felicitated and provided laptops and study materials on behalf of the state government. He was speaking to media after Mukram Ahmed, who secured first rank in the agriculture and pharmacy stream of Eapcet with 150.17 marks, called on him at the Telangana Secretariat on Thursday.
Shabbir said the achievement was significant as nearly 80,000 students had appeared for the engineering and agriculture entrance test across Telangana. He said Ahmed, a student of TMREIS, had brought pride to his family, teachers and the institution by securing first rank in the state.
Shabbir said Ahmed’s achievement reflected the growing educational aspirations among minority students in Telangana. He said education remained the most important tool for empowerment and recalled that various initiatives, including 4% reservation under BC-E, fee reimbursement and access to professional education, had helped several minority students pursue higher studies.
He said nearly 1,400 students had secured free medical college seats in Telangana this year, showing that minority students were increasingly competing in professional courses.
