CM Revanth to Sanction Palm Oil Industry

Following successful soybean and sugarcane cultivation, farmers in Nizamabad are now showing interest in palm oil, with around 8,000 acres currently under cultivation.

Nizamabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will visit Nizamabad district soon and is expected to inaugurate a palm oil industry in Bodhan. Cutting across party lines, both Congress and BJP MLAs are coordinating arrangements for his visit. Originally slated for July 27 or 28, the date may change due to his busy schedule in Hyderabad and New Delhi.

Following successful soybean and sugarcane cultivation, farmers in Nizamabad are now showing interest in palm oil, with around 8,000 acres currently under cultivation. Land belonging to the Nizam Sugar Factory in Yedapally and Renjal mandals has been earmarked for the new industry. A public meeting is also being organised to coincide with the Chief Minister’s visit.
