CM Revanth to leave for Delhi today

The polling for Delhi Assembly elections will be held on February 5 and the campaigning ends on February 3.

Hyderabad:Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will leave for Delhi on Sunday to campaign for Congress candidates in the Delhi Assembly elections for two days. He will hold road shows on Sunday and Monday and is expected to return to the city on Tuesday.

The polling for Delhi Assembly elections will be held on February 5 and the campaigning ends on February 3.

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Jupally Krishna Rao and a few other leaders are also expected to campaign in Delhi.

Earlier, the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) invited the CM to Delhi on January 16 to release the Congress party's 'Four Guarantees' for Delhi Assembly polls and inform voters of Delhi about the successful implementation of 'Six Guarantees' in Telangana within one year of coming to power.

Revanth Reddy released Congress guarantees in Delhi promising to provide a gas cylinder for `500, a free ration kit and 300 units of electricity for free to every resident if voted to power. The CM appealed to voters of Delhi to elect Congress to power and said he would take the responsibility of ensuring the implementation of guarantees promised by Congress.
