CM Revanth Tells Officials to Highlight Telangana Culture in Hospitality

The Miss World pageant will begin on May 10 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium and conclude with the grand finale on May 31.

Hyderabad: Ahead of the Miss World 2025 pageant that will draw global attention to Hyderabad, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday directed the police department to step up the surveillance and make foolproof security arrangements for the smooth conduct of the global beauty pageant in Hyderabad from May 10 to 31.

Police officials have been specifically asked to tighten security at hotels where foreign guests would stay. The areas around Gachibowli Stadium, Charminar, Laad Bazaar, Chowmahalla Palace and Secretariat will also be under tight security cover.

During a high-level review meeting at the Police Integrated Command Control Centre on Monday, the Chief Minister said the Miss World 2025 pageant should be held smoothly as it draws global attention to Telangana as it will have contestants from 116 countries and nearly 3000 media representatives from around the world.

The Miss World pageant will begin on May 10 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium and conclude with the grand finale on May 31.

The Chief Minister instructed the authorities to provide good hospitality to the guests and accord them a warm welcome highlighting Telangana’s culture and traditions. He asked officials to provide required support for foreign delegates or participants who wish to explore the city or the state.

Revanth Reddy also stressed that precautions should be taken to avoid traffic problems and power outages in the areas where Miss World programmes are being held in Hyderabad.

Students from government Gurukuls, BC, SC, ST Welfare Residential Schools, Model Schools and Kasturba Schools should also witness the Miss World celebrations for a day and officials should make arrangements for them, the CM said.
