CM Revanth Reddy's Intervention Helps Jagtial Youth Return Home From Saudi Arabia
When Aravind’s family contacted Vishnu seeking help, he allegedly stopped responding to their calls.
Hyderabad:Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s efforts have helped Dasari Aravind, 23, return home in BB Rajpalli of Jagtial district, after he was allegedly cheated by a job agent and forced to work as a sheep grazer in the Saudi Arabian desert instead of the job he had been promised. Kotari Ramulu, alias Vishnu, had allegedly assured Aravind and his family that he would arrange the job and asked them to pay `90,000 for the process.
Believing the promise, Aravind’s family paid the amount and he travelled to Saudi Arabia. After reaching the country, his family stated he was forced to work as a sheep grazer in a remote desert area. When Aravind’s family contacted Vishnu seeking help, he allegedly stopped responding to their calls.
Aravind’s mother Rajavva then approached the government through the Pravasi Prajavani portal on May 8. The authorities took up the matter and coordinated with officials in New Delhi to facilitate Aravind’s return. Following the intervention and efforts of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Aravind was brought back to India.
Speaking with Mandha Bheem Reddy, vice-chairman of the NRI advisory committee. the family expressed their gratitude to Revanth Reddy and the officials involved for helping secure his safe return.
