CM Revanth Reddy to Lay Foundation for ₹345.78-Crore Works in Sircilla
Revanth Reddy will lay the foundation for Young India Integrated Residential schools that are to be constructed in Sircilla and Vemulawada by spending ₹200 crore.
Karimnagar: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy would lay the foundation for `345.78 crore worth developmental works in Sircilla on September 30.
Revanth Reddy, who visited Sircilla three times as an opposition leader, is visiting the textile town for the first time after he became the CM. He would address a public meeting at Ragudu bypass road.
Since Sircilla is a centre for cloth production, the CM is likely to start new schemes for the welfare of weavers, as also for development and women empowerment besides for education and ensuring basic civic facilities.
The e-Nethanna Bazar will help provide marketing facilities for clothes woven on handlooms and powerlooms.
The CM has already advised officials to establish an e-Nethnna Bazar to provide marketing to petticoat and polyester clothes.
Revant Reddy will lay the foundation for Young India Integrated Residential schools that are to be constructed in Sircilla and Vemulawada by spending `200 crore.
In Sircilla, a plan is to develop this in 18 acres in Peddur and admissions from Classes V to Intermediate will start this academic year.
The project also aims to provide shelter to 2,600 students, build 64 class rooms, a dormitory, a dining block, and lay out a playground.
The state government has decided to establish Telangana public schools in Sircilla and Konaraopet, wherein students will be provided education from pre-primary to 12th standard.
Besides classrooms, labs, dining halls, playgrounds and IT facilities will be arranged.
As part of renovation of the Sri Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple, Vemulawada, Revanth Reddy would lay the foundation for projects worth`99.40 crore.
There, in all, are 26 types of works for mandapams, gopuralu, prakaralu, side development, water supply, drainage system, electricity works, shopping complexes, and a north side CC road.
The chief minister will lay the foundation for seven new government office building including RDO offices in Sircilla and Vemulawada, four Tahsildhar offices in Thangallapalli, Veernapalli, Vemulawada rural and Rudrangi and a sub-register office in Vemulawada.
Foundation will also be laid for a 10,000 metric tonnes capacity godown and allied units in Rudrangi.
The Indira Mahila Shakthi Bhavan constructed at Peddur will be inaugurated by the CM. An announcement for establishment of a new nethanna bazaar is also expected.
In this regard, proposals for basic facilities and financial assistance were sent to the handlooms and textiles department. The details have not been finalised so far.
A woman police station in Vemulawada and two traffic police stations would also be established in Vemulawada and Sircilla.
