CM Revanth Reddy orders drone survey inside ORR to improve infrastructure

To tackle traffic congestion, CM Revanth suggested seeking technical support from Google if necessary

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday directed officials to develop the core urban area inside the Outer Ring Road (ORR) to international standards by improving infrastructure and providing better facilities to residents.

In a review meeting with officials, the CM ordered a comprehensive drone survey which has already been piloted to be expanded to cover the entire core urban area. This survey will collect crucial data on housing, fresh water supply, electricity, and sewage systems, ensuring that basic amenities are provided efficiently and without disruption.

To tackle traffic congestion, CM Revanth suggested seeking technical support from Google if necessary. He highlighted the importance of using advanced technology to streamline traffic management and prevent roadblocks in the city.

Additionally, the Chief Minister instructed officials to prepare detailed plans for the restoration of lakes and the expansion of drainage systems, aiming to improve the city's water management infrastructure.

In a move to ease traffic congestion, the CM approved the construction of flyovers at seven major high-traffic intersections. He directed officials to expedite the process by completing land acquisition and issuing tenders at the earliest.

With these initiatives, CM Revanth said he aims to transform Hyderabad into a model urban centre ensuring sustainable development and improving quality of life for its residents.
