CM Revanth Reddy Announces Haj Rubbat Near Shamshabad Airport

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy flags off buses carrying Haj pilgrims from Haj House, announces new Rubbat accommodation near Shamshabad airport.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A.Revanth Reddy announced the construction of Haj Rubbat, for accommodation of Haj pilgrims, at Mamidipally near the Shamshabad airport. The facility will be constructed within a year, to help pilgrims stay for two to three days before their Haj journey. Revanth Reddy urged the minority department officials to speed up the construction Haj House and develop plan for its use.

The Chief Minister was speaking after flagging off buses to the Shamshabad airport, carrying pilgrims travelling to Mecca from Haj House. He the government had provided better facilities at Haj House for pilgrims travelling from the Hyderabad embarkation point.

Revanth Reddy affirmed government commitment for the welfare of Muslim community. He directed officials to ensure to provide allocated quota to Muslims for Indiramma housing and employment. He said that the government would work for the development of the Old City, which he called the ‘original city’. “We have sanctioned infrastructure projects like Metro Rail, development of roads, and beautification of Mir Alam Tank which are already in process.”Revanth asked unemployed youth to make use of Rajiv Yuva Vikasam.

Syed Ghulam Afzal Biabani (Khusro Pasha), Telangana Haj Committee chairman, expressed gratitude to Revanth Reddy for providing Rs 6 crore for the Haj camp. “Learning from the challenges faced during previous Haj pilgrimage, we have held training camps to better prepare pilgrims for the journey.”
