CM Revanth Amends Rules to Give Job to Widow of Cop Killed in 1996, After 17 Years
Receiving the information from the CMO office, Rajashri along with her family members and MLA Nagaraju met with the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and expressed her heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the MLA for his initiative.

Warangal: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy handed over the compassionate (Karunya) appointment order to a woman from Warangal, whose family was waiting for it since 17 years. He issued orders appointing her as a junior assistant in the home department.
Bhukya Bheem Singh, from Warangal who worked as a head constable, was killed on September 24, 1996 when he was in service during an encounter with Maoists in Thadvai mandal of Mulugu district. After completing her graduation, his daughter B. Rajashri applied for a compassionate job in 2008. However, the previous government denied her request citing technical reasons.
Meanwhile, the Wardhannapet MLA K.R. Nagaraju who learnt about the issue took initiative and took it to the notice of the Chief Minister. Responding immediately, the CM instructed the officials concerned in the CMO to amend rules and provide her with a job.
