China becomes the world's factory: TEDx speaker Suresh Kochatti

Hyderabad: China has taken over the world’s factories. Its products are everywhere. Its economy has soared, but not without controversy, according to TEDx speaker and social media influencer Suresh Kochattil. He was speaking at an event, ‘China’s Rising Manufacturing Power’ at the department of Asian languages (Chinese) at The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU).

He outlined how China became the world’s factory and spoke about the nation’s massive labour force, industry-friendly policies, and the rise of special economic zones like Shenzhen and Chongqing. However, he also addressed concerns about cheap exports and currency manipulation.
