Charminar Express Halted at Aler Due to Brake Issue, Resumes Journey Safely

Hyderabad: Train No. 12760 Hyderabad-Tambaram Charminar Express was briefly halted at Aler railway station under the Secunderabad Division of South Central Railway (SCR) on Saturday evening after a brake binding issue was detected in the S5 coach.
A SCR statement on Sunday said smoke and sparks were noticed from the wheel of the affected coach at around 1947 hours. The situation was promptly handled by on-duty railway staff, who extinguished the issue without delay.
After necessary checks, the train resumed its journey at 8:10 pm towards Tambaram. Authorities confirmed that there was no damage to property and no casualties were reported.
