Chamala Slams BRS MLAs For Remarks Against CM
The entire nation has recognised Revanth Reddy's vision and leadership in the fight for social justice and the development of Telangana: MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy

HYDERABAD: Retaliating against the remarks made by BRS MLAs G. Jagadish Reddy and Padi Kaushik Reddy against Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy on Sunday alleged that both leaders are acting like “character artists” in the BRS by making false and baseless statements.
The MP stated that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is working tirelessly to ensure 42 per cent reservation for Backward Classes (BCs), setting an example for the entire country. He said former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao cannot be compared to Revanth Reddy, especially in terms of development and the implementation of welfare schemes in Telangana.
"The entire nation has recognised Revanth Reddy's vision and leadership in the fight for social justice and the development of Telangana. However, the BRS and its MLAs have resorted to mudslinging because they are unable to digest the success of the Congress government’s welfare initiatives," Kiran Kumar Reddy said.
He further added that after the Congress came to power, K.T. Rama Rao has lost his independent identity within the BRS.
Addressing criticism over the phone-tapping issue, the Bhongir MP said there is no merit in targeting the Congress government. Recalling an incident from the Telangana movement, he claimed that K. Chandrashekar Rao had once told Jagadish Reddy that a separate Telangana state would never be a reality, and that Jagadish Reddy himself stands as proof of those remarks.
