Centre Conducting Recruitment Drives for Viksit Bharat 2047: Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad: Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy on Saturday said the Central government is conducting time-bound recruitment drives across ministries to fill vacancies as part of efforts to achieve the goal of a “Viksit Bharat” by 2047.

Addressing the 18th Rozgar Mela at the CRPF Group Centre in Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad, he noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been holding Rozgar Melas since 2022 to streamline and expedite recruitment across states. “Newly appointed youth will play a key role in achieving this objective,” he said.
He added that, apart from filling government vacancies, the Centre is now focusing on boosting employment generation in the private sector by promoting startups and attracting new investments. “Amid current global tensions, India is seen as a reliable destination, and new investments will help create jobs,” he said.
At the event, Union Minister handed over the 213 appointment letters to candidates from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, including 179 for CRPF, five for SSB, 16 for ITBP, five for BSF, one at IFLU, three at IIT-Hyderabad, one at Bank of Baroda, and three Professor posts in the Ministry of Education. Among 15 were women. Senior CRPF officials including South Zone Medical IG Ganesh Chandra Padi, Hyderabad Centre DIG Uday Bhaskar Billa, and Commandant Mohan Das Kobrugade participated in event.
The 18th Rozgar Mela was organised at 45 locations across the country. 61,000 newly recruited candidates, selected from all parts of India, will be joining various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India, including the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services, Department of Higher Education, among others.
