HYDERABAD: The Crafts Council of Telangana (CCT) has announced Kausalyam 2026 and Threads of Hope Bazaar, two craft events that will raise support for the Bharoon Embroidery Cluster and artisans affected by the March 15 fire at Dastkar Nature Bazaar in New Delhi.

CCT, a voluntary non-profit organisation established in 1987, said the two events follow the theme, “celebrating India’s handmade heritage while rebuilding artisan livelihoods.” Kausalyam 2026 will take place at Anvaya Convention, Financial District, Hyderabad, on July 15 and 16 from 10 am to 7 pm. Entry will be free on both days.
The event, organised once every five years in collaboration with textile revivalist Gaurang Shah, will include more than 75 textile studios and craft exhibitors, over 120 stalls and 40-plus curated handcrafted collections from across India. Visitors can see a Museum of Textiles, which will trace the artistry, history and evolution of Indian textile traditions.
CCT said Kausalyam will also include “Conversations with Craftpreneurs,” where visitors can interact with artisans, designers and creative entrepreneurs. Cultural presentations will include “Sita Anveshana,” a Telugu-English leather puppetry presentation and “Virata Parvam,” a Cheriyal Scroll storytelling experience supported by augmented reality.
Threads of Hope Bazaar will take place at CCT Spaces, MLA Colony, off Road No. 12, Banjara Hills, on July 31 and August 1 from 10 am to 7 pm. The bazaar will feature 26 artisan groups and creative enterprises affected by the Delhi fire. Products will include carpets, block prints, Banarasi sarees, Chikankari garments, Pashmina shawls, cane crafts, papier-mâché, tribal jewellery, embroidery, hemp clothing and home décor.
